Do you pump in the middle of the night?

My lo is going longer stretches at night, I'm wondering if I should pump. Or just sleep! How do you all do it ? Thanks!

I did not do it at night when my son started sleeping at night longer and i started to lose my milk. So it all depends. If you want to stock up then i suggest to pump at night until you feel u have enough to last you  as long as your going for. That way after awhile you no longer have to pump and just give ur baby milk still. Just know that the less u pump the less milk u will get.

I'll go ahead and pump if I wake up just because my boobs will start to hurt. But I won't set an alarm or intentionally wake up just to pump.

I was told to go ahead and sleep. Your body is so in sync with your baby that it will adjust over a few days to what your baby's new schedule is.  Unless you want to create an extra stash of milk, there is no need to wake up. Your body knows what to do!

My son sleeps for a pretty long stretch at night, so I started pumping just before I go to sleep (about 2 hrs after he does). Hasn't seemed to reduce my supply. I'm always leaking by morning lol

My LO has recently started going 6-7 hour stretches, but I always wake up around 2am naturally anyway and use my hand pump a bit. I have supply issues in the evening though and it's handy to have a bit!  I'm nervous about the supposed 4 month sleep regression and not having milk, but after that passes I'm going to stop I think. 
At least that's what I think some days. Others, I think I need to just let go and get some sleep while I can!

I do. I wake up with full breasts almost always around 2am. It's painful so I pump.

My little has been sleeping 6-8 hours straight for the last month and  a half...I thought about pumping but then I thought about sleeping 😂 she goes down at 10ish and feeds in the morning at 6ish. She will only feed from one side (I put her on the side that produces more) and I pump the other side after I put her back down. Works out great hasn't effected my supply at all
