So I just brought this up to my husband and he has a totally different opinion than I do! But anyways we went to this camping trip like a month ago it was a sabbath camping trip from Friday night sundown till Saturday night sundown.. anyways we did not know before going that the group we were going with was a bunch of junkies. One of the heads is my husbands friend and said its totally fine and great for us to bring our infant and all. No mention of drugs or anything. Anyways we show up and instead of getting a spiritual sabbath like we are used to we have people smoking weed at the table around the kids doing shrooms and even cocaine! 😔 I took my son and left the table and went back to my tent. We are sabbath observant so we couldn't leave until Saturday night but we only joined the group for meals since they were the ones preparing them ( we paid it was a whole organized thing) anyways I found it really rude they also totally broke sabbath at the table and all and originally told us it would be sabbath observant which killed the mood for us completely but whatever the part that bothered me the most was the smoking and drugs out in front of 7-8 year old kids and they were allowing a bunch of teens to do it. I find it awful! My husband thinks it's fine to be around that crowd with kids and it's all about educating the kids that others do things that I don't? I don't know cocaine is a heavy drug not something I want my kids to ever see!
