Does anyone else's family drive them nuts??

I love my family but at times, they drive me CRAZY. I don't know how they do it so well. Like planning anything together is always difficult or turns into a fight.

Can anyone else relate or am I the worst daughter/sister ever? :(

My mother is Type A, controlling, manipulative, and overbearing. We don't get along very well! She's like that with everyone else too so she had a hard time with her long term relationships. Sometimes our family members are just difficult! It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you!

My Grandmother drives me crazy! She constantly acts like she's my daughter's mom and is constantly telling me what I need to do with my life and my daughter. It drives me insane!

Oh heck yes I'm 21 my mom and dad treat me like I'm 10. I'm moving out wih my boyfriend of 4 years in a few weeks and needless to say it's been hell since I told them a few months ago. I know it's hard to let me go but at the same time they are pushing me away:(

I am currently going through this with my father! Great guy, big heart, completely spineless.  He's being railroaded by the latest of a string of manipulative, mean, needy girlfriends. We just had it out last night because he asked me to invite her family to our very small wedding (who I've met once and they're all addicts/child neglect/jail time monsters) AND asked me not to invite my cousin because his girlfriend doesn't like her.   LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH.

My mom is crazy! She drives me crazy telling me how to raise my child and when I go over to her house at the slightest fuss from my LO she'll immediately say oh she's hungry better feed her. Mom, I know when my daughter is hungry thanks! This among other things, she's always asking me to clean her kitchen if I eat over thee which I do 9/10 times sometimes I just don't want to! I don't clean my own kitchen as much as I do hers! Lol

Im going through the same my mom told me to go to hell the other day.! I clean, cook, graduated high school early, I work I pay my bills on time. I don't know why she yells at me I really don't do anything to make her mad or hurt her I don't understand what to do to make her proud of me.

I seem to get along better with my Inlaws. My mother was very hurt that I moved out at a young age and because of that she got very close to my younger brother and doesn't notice how much she 'favours' him to anyone else (even my dad) my dad tries really hard to plan stuff with me but most of the time when I'm with them I feel left out and annoyed. My Inlaws are my neighbours so it's just easy to see them more. We tend to spend more time with my hubby's family because his siblings are the same age as us and married pregnat or have kids so it's easy to engage with them because they are in the same stage as their life while my brother is a lot younger than me. It can be hard but I still try to see them. Even if i can only do somewhat frequent shirt visits.
