Sushi Bar Help?
I'm not sure if there's a group that you can ask like non health related questions but I figured I'd try this one. I totally understand if this is the wrong forum for this I just don't know where to ask.
I really want sushi and the last time I had it was my first time trying it. So I got a California roll and a crispy fried shrimp roll. The California roll has what's called tobiko on it which is fish eggs. They don't necessarily taste bad but the texture gets to me.
I just want to know if anyone knows if it's rude to ask the sushi chefs to forgo the tobiko.
I know in some cultures that's rude.
