Yesterday both me and my husband where off work for the day. We went threw our morning like always. Wake up, eat, cartoons and get dressed. By the time my step son is dressed he usually never stops playing with his toys. Both my husband and I had things that needed done so we were pretty busy around the house and didn't take many breaks. His son sat on the sofa and watched tv for over 9 hours, he's 5. I've started noticing it's just not the occasional lazy day the second he walks in the door he demands the TV to be on and doesn't leave the sofa till bedtime. Today I told him no cartoons you either play with your toys in the living room or I'll get rid or them. He has a bedroom and a play room there shouldn't be half a living room filled with toys down here anyways. So now he's sitting by his train table staring at the wall pouting because I'm being unreasonable. Help me go about this a better way
