I cant get a midwife appointment until im 8 and a half weeks. Other than folic acid is there anything i need to take or do?

Just your prenatal vitamins you should be fine. And try not to stress yourself out.

You'll be fine. I didn't see a doctor until I was 8 weeks only because that's when I had found out I was pregnant. Just take it easy and don't worry yourself baby feels it all.
