Hands going numb??

Has anyone else had problems with there hands going numb? It's both but my left hand is the worst and usually at its worst when I wake up. But even at its best the tips of my fingers still tingle and feel numb.

Yes! I believe it's carpel tunnel. My hands & arms go numb at night. My hands (fingers) continue to be sore throughout the day. After talking to my doctor & researching, I finally purchased hand braces to sleep with at night & it has made a ton of difference! My fingers are still sore but I can sleep through the night without going numb... even when sleeping on my arms!

I do. It's carpal tunnel. Usually goes away after pregnancy. My hands hurt so bad in the middle of the night it feels like they were slammed in a door.

Yes! My left hand but just be middle and ring fingers. I've had tendinitis before but usually my elbow will bother me with it.

I had carpal tunnel with my second pregnancy really bad . I tried the arm braces didn't work for me, after delivery there was an immediate relief.

Yup, dr tells me there's nothing to worry about. Just down to swelling (and I don't look swollen, except for the occasional slight puffiness in the ankles after a hard day!)

I have had horrible carpal tunnel since I was about 28 weeks. The wrist splints didn't work so I gave up. Doctor said its just something some women get. He said if it doesn't go away 6 weeks after birth that I will need to see an Ortho. My hands are always numb and my fingertips. Hang in there.

Welcome to carpal tunnel club. It started for me at 32-33 weeks..at first I was thinking I just slept on my arm funny until it was happening throughout the day

Carpal tunnel is very common in pregnancy especially when there is swelling
