Castor oil?

Have any of you mommies ever tried castor oil to help induce your labor? If so did it work?

Me and my friend tried it. She claims to have drank the whole bottle throughout the day and she went into labor the night. I drank half of the bottle throughout the day and went into labor the following morning. We both didn't even have diarrhea.

I tried it multiple times... it didn't work at all.
