Well im 34 weeks and 3 days and I've been here in the hospital for 4 days now. Baby is doing great but mommy has pneumonia. It started out just as sinus trouble and progressed very quickly! I kept calling my general practitioners and my OB and they kept saying no you don't need to come to the ER. And prescribed me more and more meds. I got to wheezing so bad and couldn't breathe. Finally went to the ER and got fussed at for not coming in sooner. I'm an RN so I try to let my knowledge go and listen to the doctors. That's not always a good thing. I should have listened to myself... But im hoping tomorrow, day 5, that I will get to go home. But no promises yet! I just wanna get well because I couldn't imagine having to come in for my planned csection and still have this horrible cough with a stapled belly. Uugh! So Mommas if YOU think you need to go in to the ER, just go! The hospital doctor said I was lucky enough to get here before going to the ICU and getting tubed on the ventilator. Listen to yourselves gals! Gotta take care of yourself so you can take care of baby!
