Oops I hit yes by accident but meant no! It is perfectly okay to ask this of someone when your risking yourself. And if it's a problem to that someone then there's probably something they are hiding. Or that's atleast how I would feel. You can never be too careful especially now days.

HELL NO! I TRIED to stress this to my friend before he lost his virginity to a girl he didn't really know. They've known each other two months and now she's pregnant with "his baby." DEFINITELY something going on there. He refused to ask about STDS and condoms. I feel like everyone needs more education.(including me)

I got tested before my boyfriend and I had sex; it's always good to be well-informed about what's going on inside of your body, as well as outside of it. Any partner that disagrees probably isn't a great one to be with.
