21 week scan.... advice?

I'm going in for my anatomy scan in about an hour. And for some reason, I'm super nervous! This will be my 2nd time seeing my baby. Is there anything I should do before I get there so they can see baby better? Or to make baby move more? And what were some of your experiences with your anatomy scan? TIA! :)

They said kidneys were dilated. So they want to do another ultrasound to check on them at 28 weeks. But everything else looked great! And peanut is measuring 1 week and 4 days ahead of schedule and is weighing in at a whopping 1lb5oz lol thanks for the advice ladies!

My baby was sleeping then woke up and yawned. How does a skeleton baby look so much like his father 🤔

Omg how exciting. I was really nervous but honestly it was pretty amazing. You get to see how your baby is developing. My baby was sleeping and was so mad that the sonographor woke him up 😂 my husband is sooooo grumpy in the morning and I swear it was like watching a mini him. He kept squirming while she was trying to measure his head and rubbing his face all angry. Pretty much the cutest thing ever.

It's better if the baby is more still for the anatomy scan so they can take measurements. Have a pop or candy bar with you and towards the end eat/drink for gender!

Baby is big enough you will be able to see without issue :). They actually need baby to be some what relaxed as they measure all the limbs and organs so an active baby makes it more difficult! Good luck, enjoy!

I just had mine yesterday all my doctor wanted to do was drink water or tea to one pee lol and two it helps just a little(: there's nothing to worry about anatomy scans, I thought it was fun(: belly a little sore but other then that I loved watching my baby boy move around and kick me hehe plus you get a ton of pictures💕

I ate and drunk some soda. This little girl would not sit still for anything. The scan went really fast too.
