My husband was in a accident in July. Not a bad one he hit a guy at the red light because he thought he took off once the light turned green. He swear there was no damage at all on the other drivers car and there was none on ours. But it was my husband's first accident so he was nervous so he didn't think to get any of the guy information or take pictures. I never dealt with an accident either so when I called Geico the guy explained they would send someone out to look at the guy car then look at my car to determine if my car could've caused the damage that the guy is saying my husband did, but they never came to see our car only the other guys and they paid him 1,800 I don't think it's fair that they never came to see my car because my car was squeaky clean no paint, dent or anything and now our insurance is going up 50 dollars next month 😡. So my question is 1. Were they suppose to look at my car too? 2. Since I'm the policy holder and my husband is the co-insurer, will this affect my driving record or his driving record, or both? P.S. I was so angry at him for not getting proof or any of the guy information I literally wanted to smack him
