Butt pain?

I'm 20 weeks today and have a pain in my upper left butt cheek that feels like I pulled a muscle. I looked up sciatica and it not only seems early for that, but it doesn't seem right. It doesn't hurt anywhere down my leg. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how'd you fix it?

It can still be sciatic pain. I've had sciatic pain for quite some time.. (Pre-pregnancy) and it isn't always referred pain that shoots down your leg. Try some stretches to relieve the pain and wear good shoes.

I got sciatic nerve pain even before I was pregnant and I only ever felt the pain in that area, never down my leg. I wouldn't rule it out because you feel like it's too early, I've had heaps of symptoms that people told me wouldn't be an issue until my third trimester, yet I'm only 20 weeks. 
However, my pain has always felt like a twinging, you can definitely tell when it's a nerve. 
If you're not too worried, just massage it and rest in whatever way is comfortable.
If you think it's an issue, see your doctor.

Stretch! My hamstrings are so tight and it has caused some pain in my glutes, too. Stretching helps a ton- best when I can do stretches in the pool!

Ive had sciatica since i was 9 weeks currently 22 weeks its been staying at my right butt cheek and the small of my back recently its been starting to go down my leg i also started round ligament pain around 13 weeks my dr said i could see a chiropractor but i cant because my husband works nights and is the only driver im disabiled from my brith defect in my eyes and going blind im also high risk and go to them every 2 weeks and with a packed schedule as it is he barely gets any sleep since we have a 3 year old terrorizing the house all day lol i use a gel memory foam pillow and looking into a belly support band this weekend since my pain has gotten so bad i cant walk or i have to walk like a sumo wrestler or a limpy awkward penguin
