It was very intense

It was very intense. I feel a little tired but i still have the adrenaline rush. :) we went natural and it lasted only 6 hours. I started having contractions at 6am and thought they were false labor signs so i ended up calling and came in to Lovelace Women's Hospital around 730 and i was already dilating at 4cm then at 8:30/9am i was in active labor dilating at 6to7cm. I wanted hydrotherapy and it wasnt helping, so i lasted 5mins in the tub and said i wanted the epidural. They got everything ready to give it to me and came back to say, "do you want the good news or the bad news first?" so i said both :) and they told me LJ was coming in the next 10-15mins that it wasnt safe to give me the medication anymore, so i got exactly what i wanted for my planned birth and i feel amazing for doing it all without any medications. Its all surreal!
