What CD do you start your OPK?

Kelli • Married since 2005, and had our first child on June 16! We are so in love with our little boy!!!
Being new to glow, I began using a FR digital opk on cd12, like the app suggested.  I'm on cd16 today.  I am wondering if I may have already ovulated earlier?  When do YOU start tracking this stuff?   Is it possible to ovulate shortly after your period?
