((Second time moms)) what did you pack in your hospital??

What was necessary and not to pack in your hospital bag!😊

Granny panties, clothes that are big and comfy and a couple outfits for baby. Idk why people make such a big deal about what to take, the hospital will provide almost everything you need. I guess if you want to look like a super model when you leave bring your face lol otherwise clothes is all I needed.

- Extra change of clothes for when you leave the hospital.
- Going home clothes for your baby. 
- Blanket for baby (optional) 
- Shampoo/soap, toothbrush/toothpaste for the shower(s) at the hospital.
- Your phone/ camera. (And charger).

I think this is pretty much the basic needs. And this is what I took.

I packed comfy sweats, large undies, toiletries, slippers or no slip socks and sleepers for the baby. Wouldn't hurt to throw in a couple night gowns for urself either. What I will include this time that I didn't b4 is a robe...I got really cold.

I'll add to all the great recommendations, but one thing I was happy I had brought was a nursing pj with a robe. I wanted out of the hospital gown after giving birth. I'm on the look out for an affordable one with pants this time.

My soft toilet paper. Lol. After a vaginal birth the last thing I want to wipe myself with is sand paper from the hospital. Lol. Oh ya, chap stick, hair band and gum.  Plus all the other things the ladies have already mentioned.

I'm a first time mom but I know many hospitals require to see you put in the car seat before you leave. I didn't see it mentioned. So don't forget the car seat!! Because lord knows I totally would!!!! Lol

I agonized over this with my first. I brought my own pillow after seeing it mentioned time and again on lists and it got completely destroyed and the hospital had plenty of pillows that were just fine. Won't be repeating that. I also mostly wore the hospital gown. I packed a lot of snacks and coconut water last time, but we had visitors and my husband was around so anything like that I could have sent him for if needed...

I'll be bringing toiletries for showering and a pair of flip flops plus very loose pants for going home and two options for baby in different sizes plus the car seat. A phone charger. That's about it for essentials. The hospital loaded me up with post partum supplies last time.
