Has anyone ever had their period while pregnant?

For a month now, I've been nauseous every morning. This morning it was to the point I seriously felt green in the face. I've had random dizzy spells, and I am always exhausted! If I could sleep all day I would! My boyfriend figured I was just pregnant, but then I got my period two days ago. I've heard of people being pregnant and having a period their whole pregnancy, but I just feel like it's not actually common. I couldn't imagine that I'm pregnant. Do you think it Is just something else? If so, what could it possibly be causing these symptoms?

It is not possible to have your period while pregnant, unless you have a rare condition in which you have more than one uterus. It is however possible to bleed while pregnant, for a variety of reasons. If you think you may be pregnant, take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant and bleeding, call your dr.

I bled all 9 months with my first born. On and off, light and heavy, and my son is 5 now and perfect. Often my bleeding had no explanation. Up to 30% of women bleed while pregnant. Less than half of them miscarry their baby's.

It may not be a traditional period but something called decidual bleeding. It's where you partially shed the lining of your uterus. It's not harmful to you or the attached egg. The bleeding usually happens around your expected period. The blood will be more brown than red and it won't be as heavy as your usual flow. It won't last as long either.

You can't physically have a period period while pregnant. A period is the shedding of the lining of your uterus. If you were to have a proper period while pregnant, you'd lose the pregnancy (because the embryo attaches to the lining, if you shed that lining, you shed the baby) for anyone who wants to argue that fact, I hope this is making sense to you.

You can bleed while pregnant, but again not a proper period!

My cousin didn't find out she was pregnant until she was already 5 months. She never thought of testing Cuz she had a period every month still.  So yes it's possible. Only way to know is take a test

My second one I found out I was pregnant the day I missed my cycle, then about 2 weeks later I started bleeding bad like dark red blood with chunks in it. I panicked thought I had a miscarriage and went to the er and I was good. Swear it was like a period.
