So it is time for me to make my announcement. But before I make the happy announcement to all my family I need to break the news to my grandma (who raised me) and mom. Both I already know will disapprove. And not be happy about it but I expect over time they will accept it and be happy they will just need time to get used to it. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can tell them? My mom lives in a different state so face to face is not an option. My grandma and I have not been on talking terms lately. It's been over a month since we've talked. I'm trying to figure out wording. I know they will immediately blow up, someone told me I should text them with a picture of the ultrasound and a picture of me as I do weekly pictures of my belly. But that way they have time to think about it before talking to me so maybe they will be more calm when we do talk. Does this seem like a good way? Any other ideas?
