I've been having frequent episodes SEVERE lower abdominal pain (under my bellybutton in more of a centralized area) for the last week or so and a constant uncomfortable feeling in my lower abdomen. The pain had been going away if I would go to the bathroom which was only diarrhea, but that doesn't even help anymore. My doctor gave me prescription strength cramping medication and told me to take pepto-bismol but that made no difference at all. Should I go to the hospital? What do I do? I can't handle it anymore.
