Ivf help?

Hi so I been to see my dr again had more tests etc my eggs and stuff all look good my partner sperm is normal but low mobility so we don't qualify for iui now its  Ivf . I am very scared that I will have these to chances of ivf and if they don't work that's it ! I'm 26 my partner is 30 what's the chances of success , can you lady's share your success or experience with me so I have a good idea x

Everyone's success rates depend on their infertility factors and your clinic's success rates with fresh vs. Frozen transfers.  As far as male factor infertility it's not really an issue when ICSI is preformed for egg fertilization.

I'm in the same position as you I'm all fine but husbands sperm has low mobility and need IVF. I am 27 husband is 32. Are you in the uk and if so are you having IVF on the nhs?

Im from Swansea in the uk ....I had all my tests done by gynaecologist first then was referred for Ivf I was on the waiting list for 9 months had my first consultation in August had more tests ect nw its on to Ivf if his sperm sample comes back low mobility again and the specialist at the fertility clinic said I'd be in for Ivf on my next period witch would be next month if all goes ok , so it takes long waiting on the list but soon as ur seen and depending on ur tests ect it's not long, but all clinics are diffrent ,

Thanks ladies were doing another sperm test at the end of this month if that's better than the last we're going for iui! If it's the same as before then it's straight in for Ivf , if so then I should be starting g my treatment beginning or end of October fingers crossed and for u all to x

My suggestion is to do the chromosome screening on your embryos. That way you can just transfer the ones that have a good chance of success. Good luck!

That was my absolute fear too! I'm not a candidate for clomid etc because I ovulate and have a regular cycle. Due to my issues (pco, end & adeno) and my BF's low numbers, we were also told IVF was our only option. Like us, your age is on your side - we were both 29 at the time of our first / successful round. There's different IVF options that you can try and that your dr will consider when planning your cycle.

I failed my fresh transfer.  So much of this is personal and how you respond.  You are young still so that helps!
