After only five days of kindergarten, my daughter says she never wants to go back. She comes up with all kinds of excuses for not going, and cries every morning when I take her to school. I have tried everything. I've taken her to school and had breakfast with her, I sing abc songs with her at home and ask her how her day was to get her used to the idea of going to school. What I don't understand is that she used to attend "daycare" called the Learning Center since she was two. She loved it! But kindgergarten is a whole different world I assume. She tells me they don't take naps and the day seems longer. It breaks my heart to see her cry every morning. I've already sent a couple of notes to the teacher asking how her day was she tells me she cries for a little bit but does well through out the day. But I know my child, this morning when I dropped her off to her class she screamed bloody murder and made a scene and screamed "Mommy mommy!" 💔 What can I do to ease her fears and help her like school?
