back labor Vs front labor?

With my first son I had an anterior placenta so I had a lot of back labor. I don't remember 100% obviously how it felt but I remember that it hurt lol. This time I have a posterior placenta. I was just wondering if contractions in the front hurt worse than back labor or if it doesn't really matter. I really wanna try to not have an epidural this time. I said that with my first but I couldn't stand how bad my back hurt the first time so I gave in. Thanks in advance ladies.

Back labor is so much worse (although I've only had back labor, women with multiple kids have always told me this). It doesn't depend on the position of the placenta but the position of the baby. Obviously everyone is different, but I managed back labor without an epidural. I think with back labor it's even more important to know all the coping techniques and what can help with the pain.
