BOB users!

I have read that some people ONLY use the BOB stroller but what do you do when you have an infant? I want to be able to take our LO to the store or the mall and know he or she won't be strong enough to sit in the stroller early on? I already bought (but can return) a Baby Jogger City Select but don't really want to have 2 expensive strollers if I don't have to. Is it realistic to use a BOB from day 1?
