Is it immature to call someone out on social media if they've done you wrong?

I want to see what others think about this, based on a conversation I had with a friend. I personally think it's immature, and if you have a problem with someone, talk to them, it's not the internet's business. Her opinion is that sometimes people just need to rant and get stuff off of their chest.
And when I say call someone out, I mean everyone knows who you're talking about, no anonymity.

Everyone has balls when they're behind a computer, tablet, phone (etc) screen, but when it comes to talking to someone face to face, a lot of people suck at it and lose the nerve. I think it's extremely immature!

I think it's 100% immature, even more so if everyone knows specifically who you're talking about. People feel the need to put all their business out on social media and I will never understand it.
