When do things start getting better?

First time mom. Still learning so much about my baby and being a mom. No bed time, no schedule for anything, everything is so random, he cries a lot. I'm with him 24 hours. He's only three days old. When can things get better?

Quickly. My daughter is coming up on a month and, while she isn't on a solid schedule, she's very predictable. I know her dirty cry, her hungry cry and her "just cuddle me" cry. I'm a lot more familiar with her eating habits and how long her naps are. Once you get to that point and you get more familiar with your baby, it will get easier. Not saying that it isn't still overwhelming sometimes, but that initial shock wears off. Good luck to you, mama! You can do this!

My newborn screams all the time even when he is changed and fed, how do I know what's wrong?

He doesn't spit up, but I also don't know if I'm getting enough milk. I have a fisher price rocker, didn't use it yet. Honestly all day he is either screaming, I'm trying to feed him or someone is carrying him trying to put him to sleep. I haven't had a minute to even brush my teeth.
