Swelling from tattoo

I got my seventh tattoo yesterday. It was to cover up another on my foot that had faded terribly. Because the first one was a little big the new one takes up the entire top and part of the side of my foot. The swelling is SO BAD this time. It swelled pretty badly the first time but this time I can't keep the swelling down. I've iced it off and on all day but as soon as I take the ice off it swells right back up. I'm trying to keep it elevated but my foot is swollen so much it looks like a giant baby's foot. Any suggestions?
