Help! Every time I shave it hurts! It hurts to shave and it hurts afterward. I get the worst razor bumps and walking is miserable. 😭 Any tips? I have very sensitive skin and very coarse hair.

What do you use to shave? I have really sensitive skin and coarse hair too. I always just apply some coconut oil beforehand and then use conditioner as shaving cream. Always shave in the direction the hair is growing and not the opposite way. It'll hurt way less. Once you're done shaving always put something on afterwards to prevent skin irritations and razor bumps. I always apply a mild hydrocortisone cream afterwards and it honestly helps a lot with itchiness and everything else that comes with shaving.

Do not shave against the grain. Also, make sure the blade is sharp. I always break out if I use an old razor.

Ahh I have the same issue.. apart from waxing I had to try and find the razor that suited me. It sounds strange but what worked for me was men's shaving foam and pressing quite close to the skin otherwise it pulls the hair. Also I have to shave everyday or it hurts more the next time. I don't use any moisturiser as I find it makes it worse.. I use a hot then hot face cloth compress. I hope I was of some help!
