Question about cervix and mucus

OK I have heard that if pregnant your cervix stays up and I have a lot of watery cm for the past 7 days and cervix is been high and period is tomorrow or day after I am having small cramps in belly and back and had some under belly what does that mean I'm confused the cramps come and go after 5 mins
