I'm 36 weeks and my husband was just giving me a foot massage but then I was reading online it can induce labor so I told him to stop. I really want him to keep going because my feet are killing me😫 is it okay for him to rub my feet?

It's just a coincidence that you got yourself a pedicure and then labored the next day.... Your body knows when it's time. Relax and enjoy a foot massage while you can. Once you have the baby you may not have time for massages. He'll be changing diapers and feeding bottles while you nap!

I don't think anything will induce labor unless your body is ready. Walking and sex can induce labor but you still do both. U r fine to have a foot rub if baby isn't ready nothing you do will induce labor

They say there is a spot behind your heel that is an acupuncture point that when massaged can trigger labor, but I don't know how true that is. I've gotten pedicures that included foot massages all summer and I'm still pregnant! If you are really worried about it just make sure he sticks to the soles of your feet, and enjoy!

Labor happens when your baby realises chemicals telling four body he/she is ready.  Which intense pressure at sides of heel of foot can help induce labor when on brink of ready, a casual loving foot massage is highly unlikely to do so.

My doctor told me a foot massage is fine as long as there isn't too much pressure put on it also he would have to hit a certain nerve pretty hard to put you into labor Hun enjoy your foot massage! ❤️💕
