Moby wrap vs carrier? 🤔

My little one will be making her appearance within the next week (hopefully😊) and my husband and I have discussed the possibility of buying a carrier. I've thought about getting the Moby wrap but he's not too sure about it and would rather get a regular carrier. Anyone have any suggestions on a carrier or any opinions on the Moby wrap??

They are both good options but they are different. I have a Tula, Moby wrap, and a Solly wrap. The Moby and Solly are good for a new baby. Moby material is thick and is best for the winter. Structured carriers are great as the baby grows.

I can't exactly compare the two yet, but I can say that since I had a regular carrier the first time (that I barely used), I got a boba wrap this time around. Second baby hasn't come yet, so I still haven't tried it out.  But I will say that I never could quite figure out my other carrier. It always hung down really really low and it was just so uncomfortable to carry baby like that. I tried adjusting it, but just wrote it off to me being so short. I'm 5'1". It kind of fit on my husband better, but he didn't like wearing it either because it hurt his back. But that also could be because he has a bad back anyway. I'm really hoping the wrap works out better. I'm thinking it will be more adjustable, so I won't have a problem with holding the baby up higher.

I hate carries but I honestly didn't like the moby wrap because it is SOOOO much fabric. This time around I got the baby k'tan which is exactly the same but way less fabric and no wrapping. I can't wait to try it out. I just hated being in public trying to wrap this huge thing around me it always got dirty from touching ground while wrapping. Just frustrated me. I did love the concept and did use it quite a bit but not I found this and it's exactly same.

I had a carrier with my first and we both hated it. It was so uncomfortable and bulky. I bought a moby wrap for my next one and i cant wait to use it!

My friend had a moby wrap with her daughter and both she and baby loved it. I got one as a gift for when my son arrives and I can't wait to use it.
