sex after birth control wear off & period comes..

So I need some insight because I'm not sure if I need to be cautious & take a plan b pill & check up on a pee stick but I had been on birth control (depo) for almost a year & last month on the 14th , I was suppose to go up for my injection but I couldn't cause my Medicaid was up & this is where I feel like I messed up .. I ended up not renewing my Medicaid in time & my period started sept.1st & I'm not sure if that means that I'm not pregnant or what but I had unprotected sex 2 weeks before that & the following week & then 2 days before my period had started ... Should I check to be sure I'm not getting myself into something ? I mean I did my research on the depo wearing out if your system but it didn't say anything about starting your period a month after missing your last injection date ... What should I do ? 😪😪😪
