How long does it take for a pregnancy test to turn to a False positive?

I took a test, it said negative after the 4 minute wait. I came back 15 minutes later to throw it away and it had a faint 2nd line. Obviously I'm going to retest tomorrow, but I'm dying to know if it was a false positive or not!
