I am limiting to about one medium coffee a day, but I am curious if other breastfeeding moms are doing the same? Or cutting out caffeine all together? Thanks for your insights!

I drink black tea every morning and sometimes a cup before bed. Don't like coffee or soda but I do love tea and chocolate lmao. 4 yrs ofnbreastfeeding and it hasn't bothered any of my kids

Once a day in A.M. and no adverse effects to baby. In fact at 2 months tomorrow I'm getting 5 hours between bedtime and first night feed and 4 after it.

Coffee gives me life. I drank half caff throughout my pregnancy. Baby sleeps perfectly fine.

On occasion when we've have a particularly rough night but usually only one cup. It's never affected her as far as I can tell.

I thought it was fine, but today has just been awful and she seems over caffeinated. I know I am very sensitive to it. I've been having one strong cup per day, but not really paying attention to if I am drinking it before or after nursing. Gonna try just tea tomorrow. :(

My lactation specialist told me one coffee a day is fine. Just drink one after a feeding. I NEED a coffee to get me though the day so I drink one and my baby hasn't had any sleeping problems.
