Talking to mom.

So I can't talk about sex stuff to my parents, or boyfriend, but I was wanting to talk to my mom about starting birth control. I have no idea how to start it and when I try to I get too nervous about it to say anything. I want to get on something mainly because my boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year and I want to have it just in case anything does happen.
