Shorter cycle with clomid

I had my first round of clomid starting March 28th on day 2 of my cycle (50mg for day 2-6). AF showed her nasty self on Sunday after a few days of cramps and feeling blah. That left me with a 25 day cycle when I usually have 27-28 day. I didn't ovulate until day 17 so I ovulated on a normal day and had a short luteal phase. Has anyone ever had this happen being on clomid? Very heavy AF and short cycle after taking it?
