Yeast infections while on period

Girls! Please help I am in so much discomfort between cramps, and I also have a yeast infection caused by antibiotics. I do not use pads but tampons are causing me an uncontrollable kind of uncomfort. Any tips on what I can do to be comfortable. I'm a preschool teacher so as much as I'd love to just lay around its virtually impossible! Thank you!
