Kissing baby on lips?

Question

I was never kissed on the lips as a baby by my parents and wondering everyone's thoughts on it and wondering if they think it's awkward or how it affected them in anyway?
Just a FTM and curious as I'm not sure if it'll be something I do or not :)

I have three baby's and kiss their lips like crazy. My oldest baby is 5 and I still kiss him like that. I don't see the problem. If I can push them out of my vagina, I can kiss their lips. Love my three boys and I will hug and kiss them as long as they allow.

Kissing babies on the lips can introduce bacteria and be bad for their dental hygiene.

When I'm covering my baby with smooches, I sometimes get his mouth too. As he gets into toddler years and beyond though, I'll teach him that kisses go on the cheeks and forehead unless it's Mommy kissing Daddy. I had a boyfriend in high school that would still kiss his mom goodbye on the mouth, and it really creeped me out!

Absolutely will not. Not a fan. Personally I'm pretty grossed out by it honestly.
It also increases the risk of baby getting sick, especially with cold sores which can easily overwhelm tiny immune systems and cover the entire body in painful sores and put them in the hospital.

I said no, but it's not because I have anything against it. I just tend to kiss attack her forehead, cheeks and hands. It might be different when she hits toddler age and wants to give kisses

I would, if someone other than my SO tried to then I wouldn't be okay with that. Not as a baby, too many germs
