False positive pregnancy test?

Has anyone ever had a false positive digital Clear Blue pregnancy test? I took a test this morning before my blood test and it was positive but I found out this afternoon the doctor said my blood test was negative for pregnancy. It's the worst feeling in the world getting so excited about something you've been fighting for almost 2 years now and it being snatched away. Again.

I had the same thing, doctor said was a chemical pregnancy. It was the most devistating thing ever. So sorry for your lost hopefully we all get our wishes soon!

I took another pregnancy test this afternoon and just realized it's very faint but it's positive as well so I'm very confused. I trust the blood test more but if I keep getting positive tests what could that mean?

This just happened to me last cycle! Seriously devastating! Especially after being on my 23rd cycle of TTC. I even posted the pic of my  pregnancy test and everyone said right away that it looked positive!  Blood test 2 days later confirmed negative for pregnancy and upon hearing the results AF arrived!!  :*(  I dont know what to think about the situation but we're still trying to be positive and move forward.  I am currently in my TWW from IUI round 4.   Fingers crossed for good things!  Sorry about what you went through! It'll happen soon enough for you! Try to stay positive and hopeful!

I did. I took a weeks estimator that said 1-2 weeks and got my period like two weeks later. Had multiple blood tests and never got a real positive on any other tests. Blood also came back negative day after positive digital but I have kidney stones and had blood in my urine at the time
