which pump to choose?!

FTM! I am able to choose a breast pump covered by insurance but can't decide what to get! What did you ladies go with?

I used the Medela pump in style last time. It didn't work very well for me, like at all. This time around I will be using the Spectra S2 I've heard great things about them and tons of Medela users have switched. So fingers crossed!

I'm no help. I'm torn between a medela pump in style and a spectra S2. I typed in "medela vs spectra" in Google and found great reviews. I keep hearing the spectra is more comfortable, gets out more milk, it's quieter, and it's a closed system which means no cleaning tubing. But the extra spectra parts are more expensive and only found online and the collection bottles suck. I've seen women use adapters to use the spectra pump with medela collection bottles though. Medela is a very popular brand but they've also been around longer. The spectra is also cheaper than the medela pump in style. I'm basically looking for the best long term pump without renting a hospital grade pump because I'm going back to work.

I got the madela , not sure if I spelled that right, but i love it and they gave me more than enough of everything! Bottles and all..a $200 pump for free 🙂

I just orders mines today and I went with the Medea lump in style because it had the best reviews and I've had a previous medela pumped and I had no problems with it
