another story from a friend...

I have no friends in real life on here hence why this isn't anonymous. I have had permission to post this. My SO has just started working at a new builders company (yay 👏🏻) and it's a family run business. The father and his wife run it with their son working for them. I've heard many things about the son before my SO started working there. He's the type of guy everyone's heard of and I heard of him through mutual friends. Basically if you're a builder or a 18 year old girl you know him. He's a very attractive and buff guy there's no lying about that. Anyways to the point. He has a daughter who he has decided not to be a part of her life. The reasonings for this are that he met up with a woman for a one night stand. This woman told him she was on birth control and had been checked for everything as did he. (They know of each other as its a small town) what the woman didn't mention is that she'd already had sex with 4 men that week and was not on birth control. Yes her whole aim was to get pregnant by any randomer that would have sex with her. So they have sex (unprotected) and he gets a phone call a month later. Obviously a paternity test was done and it was his. I honestly cannot understand how hard that must be for someone to get that call. There are obviously many things wrong with this and yes he didn't use a condom and that was stupid. But I myself could easily stop getting my shot and fall pregnant. He has decided to not want anything to do with the child due to the fact that he did not want that in the first place. I'm posting this for the pure fact that we all give women support (as we should) who fall pregnant and the fathers who want nothing to do with it. But before we start bashing the man we don't know the full story. He was an idiot for not using a condom but at the same time she lied about being on BC in order to get pregnant from a man who didn't want that and didn't even know about it. What are everyone's thoughts on this situation? I'm sorry if this doesn't read very well I'm still half asleep! I've tried to be on both sides and will say again that he didn't use a condom which was his fault. But can anyone condone lying to someone in order to get pregnant from them? Ladies if anyone is thinking of doing this song. Wait until you find a man that loves you and wants the same thing. It isn't impossible to raise a child yourself but this isn't the way to get what you want.
