baby size??

Question

So I do hair and I have a few clients here and there say oh that's gonna be a big baby because I'm tall and my husband is tall... And they look at me like I'm huge but I look at myself and I'm just belly. I've gained 13 pounds and I'm 31 weeks.. We were both a little over 8 pounds. What do you usually go off of to figure out your baby's weight?

I add my husband's baby weight and mine and then divide by two. Lol its just a guess but I was 5 lbs @ birth and he was 8 lbs, so 6.5 lbs will be baby.
I'm hoping she will be small like me, I don't think I can birth an 8 lb baby

The only way to know baby's weight is having the baby... Ultrasounds aren't accurate. But you look normal for 31 weeks... I think I was much bigger with my first pregnancy.

Yea I'd say you look small I'm just 30 weeks and my belly is like 3 times the size of yours lol

Ultrasounds are VERY inaccurate. I work with nurses who used to work in L&D and they all say you cannot rely on them.

You look all belly to me. My co-worker just had a baby and she is tall and was all belly and her baby was 8 lb. I had a friend you looked like she gained quite a bit of weight and her baby was 6lb. Don't let ppl get in your head. There's no way of knowing.

I'm 30 weeks and only gained about 10 pounds. I'm 5'5" and my SO is 6'4". The ultrasound tech said the baby was very long but idk we will see

My boss years ago wondered how I was gonna get the baby out cuz her dad was so big and tall and I'm petite.... I was like well " she's not gonna come out full grown" People are so dumb sometimes! Everyone carries different. Just keep growing your babe 💜

I've heard your baby size is usually what or close to what you (the mom) were at birth. Usually the father doesn't influence the birth weight. That's been the case for all 3 of mine so far. I wish they'd take after him and be 7 pounders though!

You need to have an ultra sound! Both me and my husband weighed between 6-7pounds, and my bump isn't so big considering I'm 32 weeks. However I was sent for a random grown scan a few days ago and got told baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead and weights around 2.24 kg, just under 5 pounds, and got told by a consultant that the baby is gona be a big girl. I don't think parents birth weight always matters really, you might have a small bump but baby might be a healthy weight.

To me you look all belly. I wouldn't worry about what others say. If we took in consideration of what everyone says we would never have children 😂😂😂
