Over the weekend I was helping my MIL move. I lifted a box and it was much heavier than expected. I had a shooting pain down my back and legs and now I can barely get out of bed or even a chair it hurts so badly. I believe it's my sciatic nerve, be it punched or sciatica. It's happened before but it was so long ago I don't remember what brought it on. I don't want to go to the hospital because I know they'll just give me pain meds. Has anyone gone through it before? Any relief tactics?
