cribs?

so we're looking at cribs, and I'm just curious to see what you guys prefer. do you guys prefer/know you'll use a convertible crib? or are you fine with any plain old crib?

I'm having a girl, so of course I love the idea of a round crib because it's extra princess-y 😂😂 but I feel like a 4 in 1 is more useful. opinions?

I'm getting a convertible one that turns into a full size bed by the end of it all. I rather make the investment now opposed to buying a new bed every few years.

We are I guess the rare family that actually converted their crib! I didn't buy the kit for it though. First my oldest used as a crib, then we lowered it, took off the front section and added a mesh guard for a toddler bed. When we moved, he got a twin trundle bed and the crib headboard was attached to full sized bed rails for a guest bed. Then almost 11 years after my son, we have a new LO to use as a crib. The cycle begins again ...

My crib is a convertible but have to say im skipping the toddler conversion and just buying the full bed option as ill get a twin for full mattress with a guard rail

Can you even buy a crib these days that's not convertible??
I don't see the point in toddler beds, why not just put the kid in a twin with a safety rail?

I love the idea of the convertible cribs but me and hubby went with just a pack-n-play instead of a crib. I plan on co-sleeping in the beginning.

Ours converts but we never plan on converting got. I want 4 kids so by the time it has been used by 4 kids we will be more then ready to get rid of it

We will be getting a cot bed so it has higher platforms for earlier months before dropping down to a full cot then converts into a kids bed

Convertible crib makes things easier so don't got to buy a toddler bed lol
