2 week feed

Pediatrician says baby should be eating two to two-and-a-half ounces at every feeding everything else I've read says the same thing... so most feedings he will not drink the whole two ounces but some feelings he will drink the whole two ounces and then sometimes he will drink almost 3 ounces... is this normal??? I mean I'm sitting here looking at 3 bottles, all the formula that's left in those bottles put together is about three and a half almost 4 ounces of wasted formula!!!😮 birth 6 15 he has gained weight tho...1 week after birth he lost 6oz 6 9 ...second week he gained 110z 7 5
