Electronic cigarettes?

Question

What's people's views on using electronic cigarettes, wanting to quit smoking but I've heard good and bad sides to using them. Is there any people on here use them.

They worked for me. Go to a reputibale e cig shop and have a starter kit put together for you. They can help you adjust your nicotine based on how much you smoke and what your goals are.There are bad chemicals in them however way too little of them to have any of the bad side effects from them. I quit using e cigs and guess what? I don't care if its bad for me cause its way better than cigarettes!!! I am to the point now where I go days without the e cig and pull it out usually for a night out or maybe a stressful day. I haven't had a real CIG since February 2nd.

They helped me quit! I found that it was very important to use a juice that I loved and that came in a variety of nicotine levels so that I could dial down the nicotine over time and I wouldn't notice as much. Good luck 😀

My husband quit cold turkey by starting the vape cigarettes. He buys the liquid with a little bit of nicotine in them. He'll now occasionally have a cigarette if he's out with a friend but otherwise he sticks to the vape and doesn't have an issue. He uses the zig zag brand which is very small and hardly noticeable. I don't know who may sell it though. The shop express store in the town next to us is the only one I've seen sell it. Even most smoke shops don't sell that brand.

Not me, but my husband. Smoker for 10 years at least half a pack on good days and up to 2 packs on bad days. He quit December 2014 and has had maybe an entire pack of cigarettes since. And that's when he's had a really bad day or went drinking with the boys. Worth every penny.

My husband quit smoking because of them and he helped his 3 brothers quit smoking. You can start at a high level of nicotine and work your way down to zero. They're great in my opinion and now it's a hobby for my husband. He trades mods and rda's a lot, and he loved doing new builds. It's not dangerous if you know what your doing.

they are 100% better than normal cigarettes. it definitely has helped people quit. you can get lower and lower amounts of nicotine then go to no nicotine at all

My dad was able to quit after 30 years old smoking because of e cigs. He's now switched over to vape, which is a bit better for him

They're definitely healthier than regular cigarettes but it's not 100% safe either.

There's a down side to everything. In the end it's not good to put ANYTHING like this in your lungs. Oxygen. That's it. If they help you quit smoking then use it. But don't get stuck on them too. Quit those asa you can. I'd say use the patch, the gum and some good old fashioned WILL POWER.  I have my date to quit smoking. I'm done wreaking my body.
