I use St Ives! I've had great luck with it. But what really stopped my acne was taking out dairy from my diet and getting on birth control. I also use CVS brand pore strips every now and then for blackheads

I use Pai and Murad, all organic and natural so easy on sensitive and acne prone skin. Murad has a whole section of products specifically for acne too😊

I looooove Shea Moisture's African Black Soap (at Target). It is literally the only thing that helped my skin clear up. After freaking ten years of trying different things. Make sure if you use make up brushes that you clean them once a week! And sterilize your makeup as well. I also use diluted organic apple cider vinegar as a toner, or Lush's tea tree toner when I'm not horribly broke. And of course make sure you keep your skin moisturized so it doesn't freak out and create extra oils. You can also do masks with honey! Raw organic types work best. Honey is antibacterial as well as moisturizing and has lots of antioxidants. Hydrochloride bandaged "blister bandages" at target are a blessing too! Cut the bandage to size and slap it on a zit over night and you can actually see the impurities it draws out! /endrant

I used proactive before and at first it made my skin peel but then it started to work SOO good. But the only thing is as soon as my face cleared up and I stopped using it about a week later I saw my acne reappear! I heard that your skin can someone get "addicted" to whatever is in acne treatments like that and can cause breakouts if you stop using. So my answer to you would be to test some out because everyone's skin is different!!

I used proactive exclusively for over a year and almost never wore make up and my skin has been clear since. I don't even use it now. I use a Walgreens brand exfoliating scrub and a toner and moisterizor and still use minimal make up. Like only when I go out do I wear make up. I have hardly any break outs now.
