too early?

Question

When is too soon to wash baby clothes (90% are hand me downs from family or second hand store, so no tags) and organize by size in baby's closet!? At that point where I'm nesting but don't really have much to do in nursery besides clothes/organization!

I'm washing all new/passed down clothes a month before ... and I'm only washing newborn clothes to 3 months.

Do it whenever you want. Idk why everyone is so worried about doing things too early. I got a TON of stuff at 5 months. Took until 7 months on the dot to finish sorting it all, I had that much of it. And some of it is.still in piles all over her furniture bevause idk where to put it yet. You do it whenever you want to

Anytime if you do have tags on them anyway.  As long as you have somewhere to put them once they are washed go for it.
