Waiting for someone you love

Been with my boyfriend for a year and eight months. And now all of a sudden he wants to go to the army. He is leaving soon and I'm stuck on wether to wait on him or move on. He's been talking about marriage lately and i don't know if I'm ready. I find porn on his phone and he knows I'm not okay with it. He's had issues with drugs, and lying to me in the past. He tells me he wants to go so we can have a future together, and so he can grow up. He tells me he doesn't need porn or lust now. He tells me he doesn't lie to me anymore. But i don't know what to believe. 😢 We've had a lot of problems in our relationship. Is it wrong to work through it? I try to tell myself every relationship isn't perfect. I'm just so afraid......we're both pretty young. He's twenty and I'll be eighteen. I don't wanna make decisions and then regret them and waste my time..
