Hi I was wondering how any of you expecting mommies are high risk? What are you risks? How are you handling them?

Am 40, have had 3MCs and 2 failed IVFs (all within last 2 years), no children, had fibroids removed last year but they're back so am prone to them. Currently 15w4d with a healthy baby boy, conceived naturally after being told to look into adoption/donor eggs if I ever wanted a family. NIPT came back great, have had 3 U/S (including the NT scan), and heard heartbeat. So far so good 🙏🏻

I'm 40 and in my second pregnancy and mum to a 6 year old boy. I am high risk after finding my Hcg hormone was high and PAP was low which is a sign of Down's. I had a private non invasive test last week to find out for sure and am going through the week from hell waiting on my results. I can't sleep, I'm emotionally drained and trying to keep my busy life going as normal for my son and my job. The not knowing is actually worse than finding out bad news. I need to know whether good or bad. 😁😁

Got good news today, all tests came back clear and I was very relieved and cried buckets! I know there's no guranatees when it comes to pregnancy but just a little bit of positive news really helps. Good luck to all. X

Yes I am. Just like my first 2 pregnancies my BP stays elevated. I'm taking it easy and following Dr's orders. I just want baby and I to be healthy, and have a safe delivery.

36, and not high risk. With my first at 31 I was with high bp and placenta previa.  This time almost 30wks and completely diff pregnancy

I was high risk at the beginning of my pregnancy because of advanced maternal age. After the NIPT test and the NT scan came back clear, I've been recategorized as low risk.

I'm 37, 6 weeks 4 days on my 8th pregnancy. I've lost 8 babies, one set was twins. Half of my pregnancies were natural other were help from fertility doc's and IUI's. My last
2 miscarriages were in the fall 2014. I got pregnant naturally this time right as we decided to give it another try or adopt! I have tested positive for anticardiolipin and other antibodies and I am a carrier for MTHFR which can cause spinal bifida all these things cause me to clot and only act up while I'm pregnant. The clotting cuts off the blood supply and oxygen to the baby, finally got all this figured out in 2014! This is my first pregnancy taking lovenox from the beginning. I also take extra progesterone baby Tylenol and pre Natals with extra calcium.

I am high risk because I have an incompetent cervix since my pregnancy with my second child and preterm labor with #2&3. I also have had early miscarriages for my last 3 pregnancies and, at 8 weeks, already had one subchorionic hemorrhage. Needless to say, I do a lot of deep breathing, praying, and trusting that I will get through this stronger, one way or another

High risk as well ... Seizure diabetes weight and age.  
Currently under care for high risk mothers at a special women's hospital.  I check in weekly. It's far away and is expensive for me.
It's making this pregnancy harder for me to accept having to climb all these mountains. On the upside apart from the bulge, the emotional distress, ( since finding out I am preggo) I have been rediculously tired .. Like I take a break after brushing my teeth tired, can't lift my legs in my car tired, fall asleep while talking tired.  I don't have any major pregnancy illness.
