So I got one of those crazy birth stories!

Joan
FTM Due September 8th with baby boy. Had a normal pregnancy besides the fact that I'm one of those women whom hate being pregnant. So at week 37 I was dialated to 2cm & 70% effaced. I started all the self inducing stuff: red raspberry tea, medicine ball, walking 1-2 miles/day, evening primrose oil, and lots of house work activity. Week 38, 2.5cm dialated 80% effaced. She swept my membrane then as well. So we scheduled the induction for September 7th at 7am. The following day I lost my mucus plug while shaving my dog lol. STILL NO CONTRACTIONS!! On September 6th I was lazy all day! Ate horribly, read Harry Potter, and watched YouTube on how the breast pump works. I have severe seasonal allergies at the moment so at 6pm I decided to take a Benadryl and get some rest cause I was waking up at 5am. Well... I woke up at 9:30pm and was having some period like cramps. Didn't bother timing them until around 10:30 when they were lasting 1min with an 8-9 min downtime. My husband came to bed at 11:30 and my timing was now at 6 min downtime.
Not feeling too aggressive yet I tried sleeping. Well come midnight I was like these hurt. I'm getting in the shower. It felt awesome! I then did my makeup (all waterproof) and tried getting my hair done but they were now 5min apart and hurting to where I had to sit down. At that point I called the hospital and said I was on my way. I woke my husband at 1:30 and we were off! Got to hospital at 2am. They checked me at 4cm dialated but water was just leaking. We signed papers and I was given an epidural at around 3am and oh my gosh. It made all the difference. By 7:30-8am my doctor was there and she asked if she could break my water completely. Turns out, I had TWO bags of water!!! One was around the other with just a little fluid in it. WHATEVER! Sadly there was maconin in the fluid... So then I was pushing around 8:15. It felt like forever but I was only in that room pushing for 7 contractions when baby's heart rate was going haywire and he was getting stressed. So she tried using the vacuum twice. He only made it half way through the canal when he was getting to stressed and we were headed to the emergency c section. I was distraut! My husband was changing into OR clothes when they were wheeling me out like bats outta hell so he didn't know where to go once dressed. I guess a nurse found him and put him in our recovery room where he was freaking out cause he knew I had feared the option of a c section. All the while I was in the OR prep freaking out and so many people were tugging cords that were attached to me and tying down my arms and my husband is nowhere to be see, one of men in there flung a cord over my eyes and proceeded to yank out some of my hair when he sat his hand on the table... They were loading me up with all these meds that were making my whole lower body numb. And they were getting down to business... Well baby was already being flung out when Finally my husband is let Into the room. At that point im frigid from all the meds shaking uncontrollably.
I could tell he had been crying too. So he came to me and I made him go look at our baby ASAP. When he got back to me he said he was perfect. And he was quite right!
After all this craziness of the day I am wore out but I just can't keep my eyes off him long enough to sleep!!
